When Nancy suffered a stroke in 2002 she knew she needed help to be able to continue living independently in her home. SHC caregiver Karen began caring for Nancy and since then, she has been helping Nancy with her daily living activities for about eight hours a day.
Two hip replacements haven’t slowed Nancy and Karen down nor changed Nancy’s positive attitude. The two are on the go, enjoying daily lunches out, a full host of social activities, shopping and out-of-town travel. They both look forward to an active life in the years to come.
