Council on Aging Senior Activity Centers

At COA Senior Activity Centers in Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Deltona, and Orange City, a variety of fun events, classes, and daily activities are offered for active Volusia County seniors.

Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida

The Area Agency on Aging for Southwest Florida (AAASWFL) is a nonprofit organization serving older adults (age 60-up) and adults with disabilities, serving Charlotte, Collier, DeSoto, Glades, Hendry, Lee and Sarasota counties.

AAASWFL is committed to connecting older adults and adults with disabilities to resources and assistance for living safely with independence and dignity. AAASWFL is also the state’s designated Aging and Disability Resource Center for Southwest Florida.

Naples Chapter of National Aging in Place Council

The Naples Chapter of National Aging in Place Council offers support those in our community as they prepare to age in place independently by ensuring that it is a physically and emotionally secure, enriching and viable option.

Private Care Association (PCA) Florida Chapter

For over four decades, the Private Care Association of Florida (PCAFL) has advocated on the behalf of nurse registries state-wide, educated owners and administrators on registry specific operational activities.

Parkinson Place is a 9,000 square foot destination site in Sarasota, Florida dedicated exclusively to meeting the physical, mental, emotional and social needs of those living with Parkinson’s disease.

Meals on Wheels

Since 1971, Meals on Wheels of Sarasota, a non-profit 501c3, volunteer community service organization has been providing nutritious meals and friendship to individuals who are unable to plan, shop, or prepare meals for themselves.
