She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Indiana University. After college, she received her Paralegal Certificate in Corporate Finance and Business Law and has enhanced her knowledge of labor and employment law by earning her CSP, Certified Staffing Professional, designation from the American Staffing Association. Nicole has 25+ years of professional experience, with specialties in administration, legal, HR, management and operations.

Nicole has created and led a national award-winning corporate social responsibility program, served as President of Indy Chamber Ambassadors, Chairman of the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the American Staffing Association and has been a member of employer advisory boards for Indiana INTERNnet, Butler University Career Services and EmployIndy Youth Committee. In 2017, Nicole received a career honor of being named Volunteer of the Year by the American Staffing Association. Since joining the SHC team in 2020, Nicole has transformed her belief in servant leadership and sincere passion for social responsibility, employee attraction/engagement/retention into a true calling.

Like many others on the SHC team, Nicole was introduced to the elder care profession after losing both her parents far too soon. “I never expected to lose my parents so soon and I definitely wasn’t ready to stop being their daughter and become their caregiver, but I did it because that’s how they raised me and I wanted to honor them for being such amazing parents. So now, I feel called to leverage my talents to attract, engage and retain Exceptional People in all areas of our company; from internal staff members to caregivers, all dedicated to the mission of delivering personalized and consistent care to our clients, their families and each other. The definition of ‘Exceptional People’ is ever-changing. What was acceptable last week, last month, last year is no longer acceptable. We must continue to raise the bar every day on what is expected from each and every one of us and our clients not only demand it, but they deserve it and we strive to exceed their expectations in all we do.”
