Job Description
Senior Home Companions caregivers work together with client families to help local seniors maintain active and engaged lives. Our caregivers provide tailored, personal services for each unique client they serve. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Personal Care
- Companionship
- Housekeeping Services
- Transportation
- Meal Preparation
- Medication Reminders
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living including: bathing, dressing, grooming
Our Southwest Florida affiliate caregivers come alongside client’s family members and develop long-term working relationships. These services allow Senior Home Companions’ clients to maintain their independence, choice, dignity, privacy and individuality while remaining at home.

Qualifications and Skills
Skills required for success in this position we are now hiring include demonstrable experience working with seniors (in-home care experience is preferred) as well as:
- Florida Drivers License (7-year record)
- Must not have a criminal conviction which bars employment, have no adverse record or be listed in the Nurse Aide Registry or Employee Misconduct Registry.
- Auto Insurance
- Social Security Card
- Level 2 background screening, independent contractors are responsible for
- CNA license or HHA Diploma
- CPR (Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- HIV/Aids Certificate
- Yearly Physical TB results (Physician Statement)
