What certifications or advanced training programs would you recommend for caregivers looking to grow in their role?

Yeah, so there obviously are professional licenses that you can get, but I think it's just huge. I think caregivers should ask questions and realize that we are here as resources for them.

It just so happens that SHC has worked out where we have two of our coordinators who do all of our scheduling; they actually are CNAs and also have experience in the home care setting. So we do offer that as a resource to them because, yes, obviously you can say get your CNA, go back to nursing school, but that's a lot of time. It's a lot of money.

So how can we make it more simple? It's about being available to them and ensuring they feel comfortable enough to ask questions and want to grow and learn in their career.
